Strategy Coach

An AI-powered instructional coaching app for teachers, built on Discovery Education's platform. The core experience is an 8-week "Activate Thinking" workout that guides teachers through structured coaching, planning, and reflection. Teachers move through a weekly plan, complete classroom activities, converse with an AI coach (pre- and post-activity), and track their progress and badges over the program.

Effective instructional coaching is high-impact but doesn't scale — there aren't enough human coaches to reach every teacher, and one-off PD sessions rarely change day-to-day practice. StrategyCoach makes job-embedded, personalized coaching available to every teacher on demand, tied directly to real classroom activities and grounded in DE's content and standards. The 8-week structure turns coaching from a one-time event into a sustained habit that builds thinking-routine fluency.

• Adoption & retention: teachers who start the workout complete it — track week-over-week completion through the full 8 weeks, not just week 1.

• Engagement depth: meaningful coach conversations per teacher (pre/post activity turns), activities generated and run in the classroom, reflections submitted.

Primary: K–12 classroom teachers working through the Activate Thinking program. Activity responses can also reach students via public, unauthenticated assignment links.
