The Discovery Education platform is an AI teaching companion — a conversational assistant that helps educators instantly find, preview, and package standards-aligned instructional content, and a bridge off DE's legacy platforms toward an AI-native future.
Educators are the primary user — teachers who search, chat, build playlists, create assignments, and export materials as their daily workflow. Students are served indirectly through educator-created workflows: assignments delivered to them, a dedicated student assignment view, and roster/classroom management that connects teacher output to learners. Administrators get their own surface too — an admin panel for product and user management, gated behind an access allowlist — supporting the district and school stakeholders who provision, configure, and oversee the platform.
