What
rad-careers is a standalone Nuxt 4 application that consolidates DE's scattered careers features and standalone apps into one cohesive experience. It brings together career exploration, playlist-driven missions, content automation, and platform integrations—built on a composable Nuxt Layers architecture so pieces can be reused across DE products. This is a rapid prototype, not a final product. It's designed to be functional enough to put in front of real users fast.
Why
Careers is a major growth opportunity for DE, but our current capabilities are fragmented across multiple apps and features. We need a unified product to drive Experience platform renewals, open standalone sales paths, and grow adoption. This prototype exists to validate the concept with real users before we invest in production hardening. Speed matters—we're using Claude-accelerated development to ship weekly.
Success Looks Like
Real users exercising core career exploration flows by April–May 2026, with feedback captured via Slack and analytics. Success means we learn fast: what works, what doesn't, and what to prioritize for the production launch targeted for July 2026. The prototype doesn't need to be perfect—it needs to be testable and generate actionable data.
Who's It For
The prototype targets students exploring careers through DE products, but the immediate audience is internal stakeholders and early test users who will validate the experience. The broader vision serves DE product teams (who can reuse the composable layers), sales teams (who get a standalone product to sell), and ultimately school districts looking for integrated career exploration tools.
